Catch us at TRBAM, TransportationCamp and js.geo

Over the next few days, catch the OpenPlans team as we present our work at a series of great events. We’re thrilled to be attending and spending time with our friends and peers — and you! Come and say hi.

On Saturday, we’ll be out in force for TransportationCamp DC. Our fourth TranspoCamp, we’re excited that it’s a return to DC — and our biggest yet.  Read more about it, and follow along with the #transpo hashtag.

DC is also host to the Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting next week, a behemoth of an event. On Sunday, talk about Shareabouts and crowdsourced mapping with Frank at Building Consensus: Contemporary Tools and Techniques for Engaging the Public.

Later in the week, we’ll be at the Open Data in Transportation poster session, presenting our work with several DOTs to plan bike shares, our innovative tools for public involvement with Google Street View, bike trip planning with OpenTripPlanner, and BusTime.

On Monday and Tuesday, Aaron will be at js.geo in Denver, presenting some of our cutting-edge javascript-based geo work, including Argo, which powers maps in PlanningPress.

Look out for slides and more from all these events here on the blog soon.
