#PWPB, let’s talk engagement for walking, biking, and great places

OPbooth

Chat with OpenPlans at at Pro Walk Pro Bike in Pittsburgh this week – Frank will be holding down the OpenPlans table in the exhibit hall, so stop by to chat about using OpenPlans and Shareabouts for effective community engagement. And open source tech tools for planning, of course.

Come to our sessions for a deeper dive:

Wednesday, 10am – Expanding the Toolbox: Using Online Tools to Support Placemaking. In Room 304. Hear about building an engaged constituency in support of streetscape projects, by keeping communities informed throughout public input through to implementation.

Wednesday 1:15pm – Shareabouts: Using Online Crowdsourcing Maps. In Room 305. Come to the peer problem solving session, for a conversation about using online maps to tap into community wisdom and get people engaged. Shareabouts maps can be used for data collection about existing conditions and community desires. Frank will chat through examples where Shareabouts works well, and how to get the most out of a map.
